NAME

     ises - Securealink PCC-ISES hardware crypto accelerator

SYNOPSIS

     ises* at pci? dev ? function ?

DESCRIPTION

     The ises driver supports cards containing the Securealink PCC-ISES chip-
     set.

     The ises driver at the moment only provides strong random data to the
     random(4) subsystem.

HISTORY

     The ises device driver appeared in OpenBSD 2.9.

BUGS

     The cryptographic functions are not yet supported. Also not yet supported
     are the chip's two LNAUs (Large Number Arithmetic Units), which would be
     useful in OpenSSL applications.
